Are you from the USA or the UK? In the uk we had the right to use the fertility that corresponded with our gender, this new ruling from the supreme Court has said a transgender woman can't use single sex fertility, ie; a women's toilet,  because we are not being recognised as a woman anymore? All the work we've done to get Are right to be Are preferred gender had gone down the pan, pardon the pun? I've told my boss when I came out to her, that I would use the disabled toilet,  but everytime I've gone to use it, it's locked?  Very frustrating,  hugs and kisses,  Joanne 🥰

Wanting to know a bit more about me? I'll oblige; I'm a trans guy who is mentally disabled and from the US. I love making art and writing, making and reading comics as well. I'm autistic and have special interests in Tokusatsu (think Power Rangers, Super Sentai, stuff of that sort), Puyo Puyo, Persona, Obey Me, and Twisted Wonderland. I am more than one (plural system) and consider myself a polyfragmented DID system of many. I work part time at an airport. I am happy to see you all here. As for the name; Alchemist Dreamer is my gamer tag typically spelled: alchemistDreamer.   The Alchemist part is that I'm naturally drawn to magic types and I myself am considered a modern day alchemist by using my own energy and logic to process and produce my emotions in my own way. The Dreamer aspect is that I aspire to be more and have big ambitions.

Hi & welcome @BunnyRobin! I've definitely met some lovely friends and learned a lot about myself as a member of this community. I hope you will too. Peace & love to you.

Something just happened and I feel a bit disturbed about it. So, sharing here to process. My husband and I plan to take a vacation in a few weeks. We want to bring our pup, so we determined a location in-state, in the state of Florida, that we could drive to. Central Gulf Coast area, lots of nature to enjoy. Doing some research, I found a couple nicer restaurants that looked good to try for dinner. I noticed a lot of places in the area are only open on limited days/hours & these places were no different. They both recommended reservations. Now before I continue the story, note that my legal given name is a feminine name. So, I call the first place and get a friendly woman on the phone. She's chatty and informal and calling me hon, etc. She asked for my name, which I told her, (first name) (last name), to which she immediately replied, "you don't sound like (first name) (last name)!" I thought, what a weird thing to say, but I'm cool with weird so I'll play along. I asked in a friendly tone, who do I sound like? She paused for a second and said, you sound like a woman! My brain was processing - did she mishear my given name as a masculine name, and repeating back to me I didn't notice? And even if she did, and say I WAS presenting with a masculine name, she was just emboldened like that to contradict what she thought I was implying? But even if she did mishear my name as a masculine name and took me for a woman by the sound of my voice, why not just accept that maybe a "woman" (which evidently she thought I was, and which I'm not but that's my own business) could have that name too. It felt not good. It kinda made me want to say, okay let's just forget the reservation thanks anyway. I just didn't say anything. It was awkward. I think some part of me wanted her to deal with the awkward on her own because it was, after all, totally on her - I had no inclination to engage at that moment. She recovered and continued to be friendly, confirmed the details, and then wished me a happy day. I returned the wishes and that was it. Still feel weird about it though. The not cool kind of weird.

Hello, I just joined and figured I would make an intro post. My names Robin and I'm a disabled, nonbinary (possibly demiboy) person from the UK. I joined up so I could have a space to talk about gender and identity with some like-minded people. I love to draw, play games and spend time with my friends and partner. Sometimes, I can be a little shy, but I'm trying more and more to push myself into making more connections. I'm looking forward to talking to people and maybe in doing so learn more about myself. Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

Yes, but I can't really afford it, sigh.

I certainly do not dispute that the US is a direct descendent of the UK.    In a lot of ways the American revolution was an internal dispute between British factions.  However American culture also has a lot of non-British elements.   Many people are fine with authoritarian government as long as it is in line with their personal preferences.  For some reason the mere presence of conflicting ideas is seen as a threat to be ruthlessly stamped out.  That's what's behind this absurd idea of a "transgender agenda."  All we really want is the right to exist in peace.  But to too many, that's unacceptable.

Good morning y’all, the weather on planet NH has been beautifully sunny with excessive wind so I’ve been trying to get out more as my body lets me. I haven’t posted in a bit, you’ve got to love nonstop appointments lol. I am in the process of ordering a binder and want to ensure I order the correct size. My measurements are ( Shoulders 17-18”, Armpit 36” Bust 36-37” Under Bust 34-35” ) dose any have experience and able to help me with the sizing? Thank you in advance.   Peace, Hugs and Happiness, Silas

More of the same. It's getting so I hate to get out of bed in the morning and find out what today's new attack is. I think the sports bans are here to stay.  In my state they're working on a new bathroom ban.  I expect it will pass.

Yes, it is lovely to use a product that just makes you feel nice! The range I use does have a bit of sunscreen built in, it is only SPF15 but better than nothing. Of course, I will use proper SPF50+ when I know I'm going to be exposed to the hot sun.   So I've used my latest cream with the foundation in it a couple of times and initially freaked out when I first squirted it into my hand because of how dark it is compared to the 'normal' day cream! it is tan, or even toffee color in appearance. It is significantly thicker too. But not to worry, it didn't make me look like Winnie the Pooh, in fact once applied, I couldn't really tell the difference at all. I'll see what happens with consistent use over a few weeks I guess, but at this stage, there's nothing to suggest that I'm actually using anything. That's a good thing - I'm euphoric about it and under the radar at the same time.

Maybe she's gearing up for the next insurrection? 😲 I'm being facetious, of course.    Unseasonally warm weather here lately. Six weeks before winter and we're getting temperatures well into the 80's, day after day. It's been very dry too.   I bought another top from 'across the aisle' recently. A black, 100% linen, knit tee. I've got a couple of linen blend tees as well as a couple of 100% linen short sleeve shirts, but this is the first 100% linen tee I've owned. It is very thin and looks and feels lovely. I sized up and it fits me well, but it is a bit short compared to everything else in my wardrobe. I've only briefly tried it on so far, but I might give it a full day out tomorrow. Who else loves linen clothing? 😃

Emotions influence thoughts: Our thoughts shape our emotions, and conversely, our emotions influence our thoughts and behaviors.    Emotions motivate future behaviors: Emotions like happiness, satisfaction, and pride motivate us to pursue goals and achieve success, while strong negative emotions can lead to avoiding certain actions or situations.    Emotions are beneficial: While negative emotions can be unpleasant, they serve important functions, like alerting us to danger or helping us identify problems.    Emotions are contagious: We can unconsciously absorb the emotions of those around us, a phenomenon known as emotional contagion.    Emotions are like waves: Emotions are not fixed; they rise and fall in intensity, like waves, and eventually dissipate.    Emotional awareness is the first step: Recognizing and understanding our emotions is crucial for managing them effectively.   Colors influence emotions: Colors can evoke specific emotions; for example, warm colors can stimulate excitement, while cool colors can promote calmness.  Emotions are neutral: While we often categorize emotions as positive or negative, many emotions can be neutral, like surprise or awe.    Emotions have physical effects: Emotions trigger physical responses like a racing heart, sweaty palms, or tense muscles.
