Welcome @Síofra glad you are here and know you are always accpeted for who you are. If you have any issues determining who you are, there is a great workbook by Dara Hoffman-Fox called Gender Identity for about $15 on Amazon that gives guiding questions and you answer based on YOU. It helps focus on YOU and who you are. It sounds like you are pretty well grounded and realistic and that is great. It's nice your partner is currently supportive and be including them in what you feel and are so they can not be blind sided and can share with you on your journey. I is important if the relationship is important to you. If you have questions, know you have people here who have similar stories and are willing to answer truthfully, not judgements and with love. So deeply upsetting considering all that is going on in this world all the American administration can do it target a small minority group. Somebody must have very deep pockets to keep the trans community on the presidents agenda!!! so much for American democracy. I thought the United States had a built in mechanism where if you have a rouge president it can be reined in? No doubt Musk must be feeling the pinch financially perhaps Trumps government will collapse around him, we can only pray for the poor souls that are suffering under the American dictatorship.

Good morning all,                 Getting ready for my five mile jog with a few friends, Mia has fed sammy the squirrel, another sunny day, hair up in a ponytail ready to burn a few cals, ive also ordered more jeans as they were last years fashion so they are being cleared, lots of girls wear them so they technically are still fashion its just each year they seem to bring in a new theme. Todays five mile jog wil finnish at three, most of the girls usually go to the pub for a drink after but i am out this evening so will need that space when i get back to shower ready for tonight enjoy your day, smile

I am not surprised. The level of hate and vitriol of this administration to embarrass us, denigrate us, torture us, and punish anybody who supports us, has no depths. These animals will not stop until they drive us from this planet. It is total BS. None of this will end well. I could say a bunch more, but I do not want to face banishment. I wonder when they will start hunting us down. Weaponizing the IRS information will become routine since they are going to do it with illegal immigrants. We cannot outrun our social security number no matter what court order we had to change our gender and name. They will have our address and employment information. I keep seeing the most dystopian future. There are no restraints on this administration, and if someone tries to hold them accountable, they just scoff at the various court orders knowing that the less than Supreme Court has their back. It is truly disheartening.

Thanks Carolyn Marie,  I wouldn't normally tell strangers,  but she was from the NHS,  (that's our national health service.) She needed my national health records which are still under John, so thought I needed to tell her? It's a big boost when you get compliments like that, I'm feeling more confident and stronger every day. The weather in the uk is glorious this week and I've got the week off work. I'm enjoying the rare sunshine by doing my garden. I was out in my front garden the ither day, next door had a bouncy castle for the kids, they were all out on it. I haven't told any of my neighbours,  I don't really speak to any, I usually keep myself to myself? I don't know if she was talking to me or one of the others,  there was about 5 or six kids and 3 adults? But one of the kids, she was about 7-8 years old,  shouted,  " can I just say, you look lovely today?" I didn't say anything and just carried on digging my weeds out. But deep inside,  I was buzzing,  if she was talking to me, lol? Thanks  hugs and kisses 🥰  Joanne

That's great, @Joanne Grace, and I can certainly see why you're excited and thrilled with the compliments.  Congrats!  You do look great in that pic.   I would caution you about coming out to random strangers, though.  I guess it worked out well this time.  It's not something I would do, but we're all different and have different levels of anxiety about personal safety.    Carolyn Marie

Welcome! Your post reads like you’re pretty sound in your identity, which is lovely. There are so many people out there telling us who we are or aren’t, it makes it difficult to see and feel the easy things. The things that should make you happy can be cloaked in shame; that refracted shadow we can wallow in, though the shade is cast from others we make it our own pain. I hope you’re feeling liberation and affirmation about who you are across your personal spectrum. I hope to see more of your thoughts here as time goes on. Until then, 🤙
