Willow, you're building a bond of love, that will grow stronger than anything made by humans. I hope she has the drive to seek employment and opportunities in advancing her career goals. Collage, trade school or the military.   Hugs,

I think I like that my male friends do not want to let me in the dark walk home alone and ask me if I got home safely is what I felt good about.

its what we call an old manor house, sorry to hear the weather hasnt been to good for you, I made the most of Thursday did my usual half hour of exercise then went out and bought some potted plants, sorry to hear that your injection hasnt taken and hope you get well soon, below another picture of the same place, with a lovely open fire .

be thankful for the smallest things and actively think of them especially if you having a bad day. Write down your achievements even if they are tiny, because if we move forward we can look back and see how far we come. If you need a timeout do not see it as failure but as regenerating energy to move on.

Yes, Kathy.   Even as slow as my transition is moving. I often daydream about where my life would have gone if my egg had cracked in my 40s rather than my later 60s. My wife is very tolerant of my questions. What if? Right now I live vicariously through the lives of my daughter, daughter-in-law, and older nieces. I'm very fortunate they let me hang out in their conversations. At best I hope they view me as the old woman I was meant to be.   Hugs,

what a cutie and Mia is a lovely name. My cats are called Isamu, the old one, Sisi, with the white paws and Freya.

I am still working on accepting or understanding myself to the fullest, but I do find some self love. I accept myself as a woman who happens to be trans and feel I am moving towards to not be ashamed of being trans and not cis.

It shifted for me a lot in my life. Nowadays I dream myself exactly how I look, as trans woman.

My life has been pretty settled for a few years now.  Since my GCS, five years ago, there have been no significant milestones in my transition.  In the last couple of years, I've noticed some hip development and my breasts have become more homogeneous, but that's about it.   So, with life settling down to my new normal, I am starting to notice a new subtlety: I miss the female life that might have been.  So many things would have been different if I had figured it all out sooner.  (My egg cracked at age 62.)  Relationships would have been different.  My career path might have been different.  I miss those things I might have done, and those people I might have met.   It's not a big deal.  I live in the present, and my life is pretty good.  What I am feeling is like a nostalgia for what never was.  It is not going to ruin my life.  It's just a sweet sadness.   Do any other late bloomers feel this?

I have now found a Trans Support Group in my own city, my name and gender marker change is already in process and I am feeling better every day. My Cats are all well. The old Grandpa Cat is blossoming again since the 2 kittens are at my home, also they will get one year in this month already.

This is because I am most of the time not here, but in the Discord Server.

Seems like a tie at this time - telling my psych and, which I have yet to do, telling my partner. I haven't slept in a week. But it was this or continue down a dark path. I'm so glad to have a supportive group that I can talk (vent) to.

Yes, Hi @Dexxter Valentine GravesIt did feel like a loss, not to come out to certain members of my family I didn't feel I could trust—but it was so worth it to come out to those I do trust. That love is worth so much. Just yesterday a friend I felt iffy about initially, told me all about the Pride Parade he went to in Tampa, Florida and showed me all his photos from there. So great to share that with him.

What has been the hardest part of transition for you, getting into role, was the hardest thing in my life, that and the grooming that took place.Having to put a skirt on when my body was not right almost destroyed me

I write transgender stories. In hopes that I make someone smile with them.

Hols,  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you bare having an issue with substances.  I unfortunately had given up and only found a path out with the help and support of others.  I only have today and may make it if i remember not to take that first drink.  Tonight i', looking forward to meeting with other trans folks who are likewise recovering or wanting to stop abusing substances.   Hugs,   Charlize
