Hi all, I've seen my gp, he is prescribing me with my hormones,  so I get them free on the NHS and I'm getting my bloods done on 10th April.  He's told me not to go with gendergp as they just rip you off? I've got s months supply on NHS,  but I've just paid for 3 months supply from gendergp,  so I have 4 months supply now, lol. At least I know I'm getting looked after now? Well, there's the old saying "Advice is worth what you paid for it."    I don't really trust the internet, and I trust the establishment media even less.  And if looking for a doctor, I want one who has independent thought and doesn't just automatically buy whatever line the AMA, CDC, or WHO are selling.  It is getting difficult to find a physician like that, and when you do, it is tough to get an appointment because they're usually booked. 

There is a lot of misinformation out there in the search engines, advertising, and tv commercials silently targeting the lgbt+ community, this includes the possibility misuse of AI technology. If you are experiencing a medical issue or you want to research something about your health care, best advice is to make an appointment with a treating doctor to get answers. 

"Would you feel comfortable with this person teaching your kid?"    Honestly, it would depend on the teacher's views on a variety of subjects, their overall political outlook or worldview, and how they intended to teach their classes.  It wouldn't have anything to do directly with the teacher's identity.  I'd hope that would be the position most parents would take.  But I guess lots of folks only look at the covers of their books.     I'd think "transmalevolent" might be the better term.  The other one seems like it has to do with transmissions or the state of Mississippi somehow.  I've also heard the term "trans-misogyny" used.  While it is more exclusive to trans women, I get the impression that it is trans women who get the majority of the h8tred. 

I'm not sure how things are where Davie is at in Massachusetts, but "tenants' rights" in my area of the USA are entirely up to the terms of the lease.  My GF owns several rental properties....basically after the initial 12 month term of the lease is up, it can be terminated with 30 days' notice by either party for any reason.  The exception would be if another 12-month term lease is signed, but that locks the tenant in as well... fail to complete the lease, and you still owe the balance for the remainder of the year.  So most tenants choose not to re-sign lease papers.      So, how did you handle him being gone?  How long was he over there?  Was there any doubt about him coming back, or worry that he'd find somebody while away?    My GF is only supposed to be away for a couple of weeks, but she's very attractive and practically magnetic to women.  Eastern Europe is basically a "buffet of pretty" from what I'm told....so my mind is spinning with the thought that maybe she'd replace me?     It had better be a good reason!  I'm so stressed and mad right now.  IDK why she'd have some sort of "secret mission."  I mean, she's adorably Russian, but surely not some sort of secret-squirrel KGB operative or something   Right?     Why are the pretty ones always the most trouble?!?!? 

A friend of mine on an actual Trans group of medical professionals refers to the H8ers as having "Transmissisistic Ideology" which she occasionally throws back at them.  Another friend uses is "Transmalevolent Ideology" which is just as far out of their mental ballpark as the other. 

I preferred to be with bys more than girls even tho I never really thought they were cute, I preferred to play or do "boy" things like football and fishing and super into cars/motorcycles... I used to ask why I couldn't be a boy...I for some reason remember that very distinctly but other than that I don't really know. I always hated wearing girly clothes and having long hair but... yeah idk

Ivy, I couldn't agree more.  The term Transgender Ideology was created by those very same transphobes to support their dislike of us and their arguments against us.  And sadly, they aren't deterred one bit by the fact it is total B.S.  They know that if they put this crap on the internet, people will believe it.

Good for you, Kat!   Back in my younger days, I used to run a lot.  But they say it is hard on the knees, and I stopped running quite a few years ago.  I am almost as old as Carolyn.   Instead, I try to walk regularly, weather permitting.  There are some lovely walking trails in the bird sanctuary, so we quite often go there.  There are several loops that take about an hour to walk.  Once a week, the social club does an easy walk, followed by going to a coffee shop.  It is a good bunch of people, so we enjoy going.

After school today we're  going to a pool party for someone's birthday in our grade.  Then at 8 I'm racing go carts with Michael at an indoor track, then playing black light mini golf for our 3rd actual date (I don't count the afternoons we're together after school). Dad's off work this afternoon/tonight, so he'll pick us up from the pool party for the date.

Thanks so much. Already got an appointment for a senior housing spot for next week. It's a room for my own head-space home, so I can finish my work.

Hi Dexxter, I am one of the guys on here, but I've been mostly quiet. I feel like the ladies are chattier, i know that's stereotypical, but it seems like the guys need a topic to talk about. They will help with a problem, but to come up with something to just chat about seems less frequent for the guys. It's like they need a specific topic prompt. All that to say, you are absolutely welcome here and guys exist here and are friendly. Even if this thread is super quiet, feel free to post anything you want to it. You might get some replies.

Good on you, Kat!  That's an impressive feat (or feet).  I manage 1.5 - 2 miles per day walking as fast as I can (which, honestly, ain't that fast).  But I'm 71, so I'm happy.  Keep it going!   Carolyn Marie

A friend got in touch and suggested that i join them on their five and a half mile jog, I said oh i was going to do it as a walk, walk? yeah, " come on go for the burn", ouch hmmm...... well ok we all met up complete with bottles of water but i was surprised the average age was 18 plus, groan, this is going to hurt, wheres your sports bra? bra, i thought it was a jog not a frickin marathon u trying to kill me? no pain no gain was the chant well after a while my words were all over the place, pain the gain, ouch dam, keep smiling (sadist) not much further, no i replied the cemetery is just round the corner i might just drop in!! needless to say i completed the five and a half miles, no stopping aloud, there u go i bet your feel better for that dont yyou? erm... smiles, well then fancy doing it all over again next week? groans and longs for a bath, some pictures along the way! The things we do to try and look good!!!

Hi Davie,              gosh thats a horrible situation to be in, do you not have tenants rights? we have a policy which gives us alot of different rights and one of them is the length of time you have been a tenant, if the building changes hands we are classed as sitting tenants and as long as we pay rent we cannot be evicted, the only exception is if the building is facing demolition, but even then they have to re house us. Since i live in an old mansion that has protected status it cannot be altered or demolished, good luck but please check your rights, are there any charities that could advise you?
