Let's not re-hash US aid to the UK during WWII, please.   Back to the present-day topic of the US requiring the UK to implement its social agenda as a price for trade.

Hi everyone,   Let me preface this thread by saying that I hope I have picked the right category.    I am a 22-year-old trans woman who has been medically transitioning for almost three years but to very little avail.    I'd like to ask several questions here and I apologize in advance if my emotions get the better of me but I feel very frustrated about my current transition status.    I'll try my best to segment this long text into smaller paragraphs and produce a text that's as coherent as possible. I am going to provide a lot of additional information because my case is rather complex and I'd like you to understand the full picture but if you have no time to read everything, you can skip to the questions in bold directly.    As I have already mentioned, I have been transition for nearly three years but there have been no feminization at all.    Ever since I kicked off my journey, I have only been prescribed gel because endocrinologists here are too conservative and they do a lot of gatekeeping despite Germany being a supposedly trans-friendly country (which is bs btw and I'll explain why later)   Over the past three years, I have seen four endocrinologists and they were so stubborn that they refused to let the sentences "The gel regimen isn't working for me. I have adjusted the dosage a lot and I have waited for an adequately long time to see if a given dosage works or not. " penetrate their thick "I am better than you and I know everything" skulls. Granted, I have elevated antiphospholipide antibody levels but I have never been diagnosed with antiphospholipide syndrome because I have never had a single blood clot even when I could have easily gotten one (e.g. When my e levels were dangerously high, when I was obese and inactive, and when I had COVID19 twice), but there's no compelling reason for not switching me to a different form of estrogen because elevated APLS levels alone mean nothing ( there are many people who unknowingly have elevated APLS levels and never get a blood clot even in situations like surgery, etc.) I don't have any kind of conditions that could be seen as a contraindication.    As far as me not seeing any feminization is concerned, I have already suspected that estrogen resistance might be the culprit but I have seen signs that point to the fact that I don't have estrogen insensitivity.    When my estrogen levels were extremely high (725 pg/ml, 3000 pg/ml, 5600 pg/ml) my SHBG levels increased correspondingly but they were still in the normal range. However, when my e levels were below a cis woman's usual estrogen range, my SHBG levels were below the normal range too.    What this seems to indicate to me is that my liver responds to very high estrogen levels and therefore I cannot be resistant.    Plus, my skin seems to absorb estrogen way too well. If I was resistant, my e levels would never be this high and there was a time when I had a fairly low dose (gel in the morning and in the evening in addition to antiandrogen)  and somehow my face feminized so much so that strangers read as female.    However when I was switched to <a lower dose> antiandrogen, I remasculanized. ( I am not 100% certain that I remember the dosage correctly)  Now I am trying hard to recover that perfect regimen formula from the part of my brain where the "forgotten" memories are stored.    1. Do you think I should switch to injectables instead of waisting more time with experimentation?   I think so but based on what you have read, what's your take on this idea?Gender dysphoria keeps hitting me harder and harder and I am just sick of not seeing any progress. I am deliberating taking the DIY route.    2. Do you think my transition goals are achievable for me based on what I currently look like and based on the steps I want to take to realize them?   My goal is to become a cispassing trans woman who is close to being conventionally attractive.    I know that at first glance this sounds vain but hear me out.    The harsh truth is that when trans people meet those high standards of attractiveness, they'll be treated better.    To achieve this goal, I am going to undergo Facial Feminization Surgery, permanent full body hair removal with laser, saggy skin removal (I have lost a lot of weight), supercharged BBL, waist-narrowing surgery, and breast augmentation. Luckily, my parents help me immensely by allowing me to live with them rent-free and by letting me set my entire monthly salary aside for surgeries every month.    I have suffered a lot at the hands of straight people. I was almost beaten to death, I was stalked, I keep getting threats, I have experienced discrimination and what's even more painful heterosexual people have deprived me of my agency by discriminating against me.    For me, becoming conventionally attractive isn't necessarily about validation (though it's a nice added bonus). It's more about safety. I know that drop-dead gorgeous trans women have been killed before but if you're not visibly trans  and you meet those high conventionally attractive cispassing standards, you'll be able to feel safe 90% of the time.    The only source of danger will be tricking a man but if you're very upfront from the get-go, I don't think you'll experience any kind of severe harm.    The reason why this goal is very important to me is that I'd like to pursue a career in conference interpreting and writing. As a conference interpreter, I'd like to work with English, French, Spanish, Russian and Mandarin. As we all know, Russians and the Chinese aren't exactly the most trans-friendly bunch but there is also plenty of anectodal evidence that even so-called trans-friendly nations (English-speaking countries, Spain, France, Germany etc.) are hypocrites and deep-down transphobic. Although these nations have laws that are designed to safeguard minorities, and their rights, these laws are smoke and mirrors . They have too many loopholes that allow heterosexual people to break these laws and get away with it.    Additionally, reaching this goal would alleviate gender dysphoria for me and help with my suicidal ideation.    Here are some pics of me.   Do you think my transition goals are achievable?   Please be honest and no hug boxing . I look forward to reading your answers.    P.S. I hope my text turned out ok and not too choppy. If it did, I apologize but I am dealing with a lot of emotions right now.

Thats a myth by the current American government, Churchill asked for help but like Trump today we ended up paying back the cost of world war 2 many years later. We together with our australian cousins, stood shoulder to shoulder on more than one occasion to help the Americans out. We the british broke the coding of the enigma machine, what we did not have at that time and why we asked the Americans to step in was capacity, we did not have the land space to produce more war machinery. Apart from taking our money your country really became involved in world war 2 due to the bombing of pearl harbour

I don't think so, as there are indicators that the US avoided involvement as far as possible in WW2 until they saw Britain's defiance (ie they would be on to a winner). There was a German influence in the US which may well have swayed things the other way.  It does not take much thinking to see that a united German Europe would be the simpler option when it came to trade etc as I imagine the Atlantic would be seen to prove a big deterrent to German expansion over there. This would be more likely a lot of US thinking early in the war.   My opinion is that the war would have gone on much longer and been far more messy. US industry provided a massive boost to arms provision etc which enabled more rapid progress.   Looking way back in history though it is amusing to think that the USA may well be speaking Spanish, French or even German now though if it weren't for Britain

Good Saturday morning   ive always been taught that it should rain in the afternoon of Good Friday, as the tears shed when Jesus cried out then died on the cross.  Yesterday was a beautiful day, no rain.   Exam proctor, would you be watching for cheating on written tests, or observing tests of skills working on vehicles and the like? observing safe practices.   i think I may have mentioned Riley, new mtf employee, well I met her girlfriend yesterday.   i suppose I need to go.  I’m still tired but life goes on and so does the job.   ive got bill to pay, not the least of which are two pairs of hearing aids.

Good morning   yes, I’m still tired.  Long but very fun day yesterday.   i bought my granddaughter a pair of shoes she fell in love with.  You’d have thought I’d bought her an expensive sports car.  Oh my gosh the tears and hugs and more tears and hugs over a pair of shoes.   well I got to go.

Almost 1am, so I guess its morning....   I spent Friday evening with my friends.  We went out for pizza and drinks, just to relax for a while.  Most of my family went to Good Friday service at our community's temple, but I was naughty and opted out.  I'm just not feeling the love right now, mostly because of how GF is acting lately.  No idea when she's coming home, and definitely mixed feelings about when she comes back.  I won't hear anything for a while, since right now she's probably on a cargo freighter in the Black Sea.    Looks like it will rain all weekend.  My husband's father always claims that if it rains on Easter, it will rain for seven Sundays.  We often get a sort of weekly pattern in the spring, but usually not for seven weeks.  Just enough to mess up our ability to work outdoors on the weekend.  Sad we can't just schedule the rain for Tuesday overnight

Was... over a century ago.  Certainly not now.  If it wasn't for the USA, Britain and France would be speaking German.  Both Britain's salvation in WW1/WW2 and the undoing of the Empire were started way back in 1776.  It is a huge mystery to me why so many Americans still seem like they want to "run home to mama" and express support for or interest in Britain.      And thank God for that.  My heritage is Greek, and my chosen family is quite multicultural with 7 languages spoken in our home.  Its kind of chaotic, just like the USA.  That can be both good and bad.  Good, if we have a common identity.  Bad if we let our diversity divide us.  Its all in how we approach it.    Sometimes I like how Trump approaches foreign policy.  Its nice to have our national interests put in first place for a change.  Its nice to not have to be the ATM for the whole world.  But then there's dumb things like this... focusing on LGBTQ+ stuff in international relations when it isn't an international issue.  We'd do so much better to avoid strange things like this.

https://apnews.com/article/transgender-passports-trump-executive-order-ee211c3298f0c6f561f829cf5adca281   This is good, but it only affects those plaintiffs from that one jurisdiction.  We'll have to wait on other cases to be adjudicated.  One small step for a trans, one giant leap...   Carolyn Marie
