Welcome to TGP, Nica! Others have already answered your questions so I'll stick with this last one. The only thing that will keep you from achieving your goal is you. Like the other, to me you already visually are passable. You have a feminine look. You're pretty.   In my mind, though, the biggest challenge is in loving yourself. Who is to say what is truly "passable?" Cis women come in all shapes, sizes and measurers of what we call "beauty." Based on your pictures alone, you already can easily pass visually. The rest, the movements, the tone of voice, the style of dress are things that can help.   But, the key is to believe in yourself.   Work with your doctors. Please don't self-medicate. There are far too many horror stories out there to tell you that's not safe.   And, believe in yourself. Most of all. Because you are already beautiful in our eyes.

I have never become a person who was declared female at birth.  I am able to find peace as myself.  I am a woman.  I found the journey to the peace,i find now, was difficult.  I desperately wanted to live as myself without fear.  I wanted a perfect body, and face but now i'm content to go to the market, chat with others and check out with my groceries.   Your goals are achievable but the final reality may not be what you wish for now.   Hugs,   Charlize

Welcome Nica, I think your pictures simply show a pretty young woman.  I've found that for the most part simply being myself over time has helped me find peace with myself.  I can even accept this old body.  After all at 76 i have lovely perky, but perhaps not large, breasts. My heart issues has never allowed me to consider injectables.  If you go that way please do not get them on the black market.  Even with secure doses they have caused serious issues for some.  One doesn't know the real dose if off market. Time has given me the peace i never thought i'd find years ago. Enjoy your journey!   Hugs,   Charlize 

Hi Nica,            Do you have any growing pains anywhere else? do your facial cheeks feel like you are munching a bowl of cereal? Since you say you have good absorption, then it might be more to do with the type of Oestrogen. Do you have growth splurts?  In the UK when i transitioned you had to go through what was called a real life test, that is to say for the first six months you had to present as female, change your name and work or go to college full time. Here is a picture of me before hormone therapy during my fist six months without hormones, and i was at college learning to type (secretarial college) me no hormones but i was young. Over the years your face like my own will change a great deal your body will re shape itself as did mine

Hi Heather Shay and thank you for your answer.    Yes, my endocrinologist did add T blockers to my regimen ( I referred to them by their non-vernacular name "antiandrogen")   As for me being beautiful, I disagree. Please don't tell me white lies. I am very self-aware and I know that there's a lot of room for improvement looks-wise. I hope the surgeries will align my body with my vision.
