Just more arbitrary and hateful "work" by an administration that creates chaos as it plunders the poor and enriches  the wealthy. Hang in there.    Hugs,   Charlize

Well got my onboarding done for my new job. Just need to meet with HR to do my I-9. Then I should be good to go.   When I filled out my paperwork. I put down Kym for preferred name and gender I put F. I possibly will get asked about, If so I will be honest.    Kymmie

Indeed.   Taken to an extreme, "A bullet from a 14 year old is just as effective as a bullet from a 40 year old.  Often more effective." (observed by the fictional dictator Andre Baptiste in the 2005 film Lord of War)   There's a truth behind it.  Women and kids have been effective soldiers and guerilla fighters in many wars through history.  Especially since firearms leveled the playing field.

Ugh.  I hate my body.  Its ridiculous. I know some people have the opposite problem, but I just can't seem to keep my weight up.   My husband handled me this morning and said I felt too slender. Before I could do anything, he picked me up and set me on the bathroom scale.  I squirmed and nipped at him, but he got it done anyway. 97 pounds 😑  I can't seem to stay over 100 for very long.  I'm supposed to be between 110 and 125, with 105 being the bare minimum.   I feel like I eat a lot.  Pizza and ice cream on weekends. Plenty of eggs and bacon and sausage.  I do eat a lot of leafy greens, nuts, and fruit.... but I eat til I'm full and I don't eat tiny portions or pick at my food.  It shouldn't be so stupid hard. 😒

Meeting my first real true love, James. James was a real romantic, just out of the royal air force we met through a computer course, where i was confused over the instructions, he took pity on the poor sod that couldn't even switch the machine on! . He paid for my driving lessons, more out of fear, erm well ok i was bad he once took me on an old air field and said here you are now we are both safe! dang11111 Whilst out learning to drive with my instructor we came up to a road junction, this was onto a main road. We sat waiting for a gap in the traffic when this guy comes along in his bbIG Truck and halts all the traffic on the main road and gestures for us to pull out, go ahead said my driving instructor, (we were both blonde females in an open top car) i said no, its not his hands on that steering wheel its his ego, needless to say my instructor put her foot down and off round the corner we went. I would often get told off for looking into shop windows whilst learning to drive "concentrate on the road" erm oh i just noticed that a sale was on and i love that shop.

In reality it is nothing more than a gesture, most GPs tend to be instructed by our government, many are not even interested in Trans issues

Eventually i met another guy and we both loved  all aspects of show business life, he was a musician and later owned a few music shops, i was involved in theatre and in some respects fate brought us both together. Sadly three years ago he passed away from cancer. I am re building my life slowly ive been asked out on a couple of dates but do not feel ready.

Many couples discover they cannot have children despite long and arduous medical tests, frustrations, etc.  One solution is adoption, which may be possible for you, although there may be some hurdles.  Another is to use the time that would go into children of your own into working with children or contributing to society in ways that couple that are tied down with children cannot.

Shaved my beard off last week. I'm still letting my hair grow long. She wants so badly to cut it. So far I've resisted letting her cut it short. I really need to get on a diet and drop weight. I'm far too fat for my liking. Still no makeup or women's clothing. Still acting like a straight male. I've had this fantasy if I were to come in a large sum if money I'd move away and transition. I've had this fantasy for 30 years probably. Nice to dream I guess.

The thing for me is that I've increasingly have become more attracted to men through the years. More so in the last 10 years. We haven't been together physically in the last 5 years. I'm not interested in her or women anymore. She has a good idea I like men as she'll call me derogatory names.  Infact she sent me pictures of nude men to my phone one argument.

How about dementia covered up by staff and news media?

The reality is that most of the mechanisms of lethality involve either weapons systems with electronic release, or if necessary, an old fashioned trigger. In any case, the weapon system has no way of knowing the gender, race, creed, or color of the operator using the weapon system. There is no rational decision as to why the various senior leaders should have been replaced because they believed in equality. There is no rationality in either denigrating the service of transgender troops, or preventing anybody who is transgender from serving.    If only there had been a law barring anybody with bone spurs from serving as Commander in Chief...

      Seems like good advice.

So far, this is what the lower courts are finding based on the lack of evidence from the current administration for their claims, and the counter-balancing, extreme weight of evidence that we are valuable members of the military from our side.
    • VickySGV
I seriously doubt that any of us are in danger from our close, personal neighbors and communities who know "the Transitioned person" as a  good reliable neighbor.  Where my / your danger would come from is going into your/ my community with missionary zeal  making a big stink against the H8er types there.  In that case I / you will be shown to the city limits very quickly, with or without injury.  There are ways that we need to use, not to tell others to police their neighbors views of us, but to invite individuals to look at the reasons we give added value to their lives, which we do in many ways.  One of the reasons we have Trans elected officials and appointed government commission members is that they are trusted by Non-Trans people to see their deeper and more constant needs as well as our own Trans needs and for us to present them with solutions that will make life comfortable and survivable across the board.  This is especially a goal for those of us who are older since our talents are on display and the Cis people who have Transitioned with us, to see us as productive, reliable neighbors can attest to.  At the minute we are hung up on the policing and forcing others to accept certain views and policies.

Not sure why it is asserted that transfolk are a threat to "military effectiveness and lethality."  I can guess.  Let's see the evidence.  I think the evidence leans the other way.
    • KatieSC
Well, if we are a threat to military preparedness, I can only imagine how damaging it would be to the military it would be if someone had bone spurs.

Evaluate things carefully before choosing a surgeon. I thought I had picked out a decent surgeon, but I puke and want to cry when I see the carnage of what was done. I cannot afford to have anything redone, and the complications I had afterwards, ugh...   Not all insurances cover the vaginoplasty. Some surgeons won't take insurance. Nothing was as I imagined it, and I cannot afford a do over.
